Celebrating BitTitan Finalists in the Women in ICT Awards
The Channel Asia Women in ICT Awards 2021 have been announced, and BitTitan would like to congratulate all the inspirational winners and finalists from a diversity of companies and countries. We’re humbled by the amazing work women are doing in all aspects of technology and engineering – and we’re looking forward to seeing even more in the coming years.
With highly skilled finalists in every category, BitTitan is thrilled to have two talented women from our Singapore office among them: Release Manager Patricia Tan Siu Gek, and our APAC Talent Acquisition Partner Jia Hui Leong.
Shining Star Finalist – Patricia Tan Siu Gek
Release Manager Patricia Tan Siu Gek is a finalist in the Channel Asia Women in ICT Awards Shining Star category, recognized for her strong record of achievement, excellence in spearheading company initiatives, and for driving strategic change. Finalists in this category are consistent high performers who regularly achieve standout business results and continue to assume increasing levels of responsibility within their organization.
Some of Patricia’s career highlights include her work on BitTitan’s Teams Migration tools, where she helped to reimagine the product with a new customer experience and technical architecture. Patricia also initiated the BitTitan Early Access program, which allows customers to be early adopters of new features ahead of product launch, enabling BitTitan to gather feedback and develop products that fit the market.
Patricia’s leadership qualities include alignment across functions, empathy in work relationships, customer focus, and promoting an inclusive culture.
Diversity and Inclusion Champion Finalist – Jia Hui Leong
Jia Hui Leong, Talent Acquisition Partner of BitTitan in APAC, was recognized as a Channel Asia Women in ICT Awards Diversity and Inclusion Champion finalist. She has spearheaded effective initiatives at BitTitan to make sure hiring managers have a diverse pool of candidates that represent both the visible and invisible aspects of diversity. She has especially focused on bringing more gender diversity and pay equity to traditionally male-dominated software engineering teams.
Jia Hui also promotes a multi-generational workforce by identifying, attracting, and developing young and future talents. She has built valuable connections with Singapore universities where she tells the BitTitan story and helps students visualize their career through mentoring and internships.
Jia Hui is recognized both inside and outside BitTitan for her openness and curiosity about individuals, commitment to diversity, and courage in standing up for inclusivity.
Congratulations everyone!
BitTitan was pleased to sponsor the Channel Asia Women in ICT Awards event this year, which provides vital recognition of contributions by women in technology throughout ASEAN. We’re excited to celebrate winners, finalists, and all those who were nominated.
